What would happen if we all did it?
When you’re tired, stop. Take a break, sleep, rest, go home. I work seasonal agricultural jobs driving large equipment. I have done shifts around 20 hour mark on multiple occasions because the weather was turning. It’s part of the job. BUT the next day I came in late and I finished early. When feeling sleepy at the wheel I stop. Even if that means the team has to stop. I am NOT consuming drugs or supplements for someone else’s profit – it’s not worth my health. I advise everyone else to do the same. Don’t have RedBull gut rot for breakfast to get you through. Slow down, eat well and when you’ve had enough of work, make a stand and STOP. Make your own health number one priority. For work, you’ve entered into a contract to exchange your labour for someone else’s gain, don’t let them take your life too.…
The way money works today largely contributes to the state our world is in. The system forces economic growth (https://doi.org/10.3390/jrfm14070335) and the fact that there is no limit to the amount of money one has combined with the fact that you can make money with money once you have enough results in unfair inequality (yes, there is also fair inequality). Add to that that having lots of money leads to power and power leads to money and we end up with quite a toxic mix. Now consider redesigning money in such a way that everyone has financial security, regardless of having a paid job, and inequality is severely reduced. Have a look at this TEDx talk.

Disillusioned, dismissed, distorted, downloaded, embittered, finished, fleeced, gutted, harmed, immured, impaired, incapacitated, indentured, indoctrinated, injured, marred, manipulated, mutilated, obliterated, obligated, obliged, overwhelmed, pained, pauperized, pigeonholed, penalized, pledged, pulverized and punctured. Ravaged, saddled, shattered, separated, severed, sidelined, silenced, strapped, sundered, reduced, remanded, restrained, restricted, ruined, uploaded, warped, wounded, wrecked and I am a tall muscular white dude. Society, for the last half millennia, has dictated that a person like myself should be in a place of power/leadership. Now if that truly was the case and all of this still happened to me even though I am some part of the “ruling class”(sans wealth).. What every…
It doesn't have to be a sweeping and dramatic success story. Regardless of how “small” the victories are please share them so I may learn from your example. Thank you
