Is there a way for me to make money while working a part-time, online job without any skills ?

Hi Reddit, M, 20 years old, living in France. As per the title asks : is there any way for me to find an easy, not too stressful online job that wouldn't require me to work full time, taking into consideration I have basically zero skills ? I don't even need a lot of money, 400€/430$ per month would be more than enough for me to live. I know I'm basically asking for the Graal, and that I am going to get laughed at, but I'm just so desperate. I speak fluently English and French, can understand Spanish but can't really speak it or write in it. I have a degree in library sciences (with some knowledge of archives). I used to take art commissions to get some money, but stopped drawing a while ago, and I'm just really bad at it. Hobbies include bread-making, raising chickens and goats, hiking,…

Imagine being this out of touch

And then they complain because they can’t find talent as everyone now understands remote work is king.

Reference

I filled out the volunteer application form to work for prayer line volunteer. The prayer line manager reached out to my last employer to get the reference. My former supervisor then “urgently” requested me to make sure I do not create a situation where third parties contact her to ask for reference as she found it “troubling.” She specifically worded it as the following: Please refrain from giving out my name or email. I filed a complaint with EEOC for wrongful termination due to possible discrimination. Now with such a request, I am afraid it would be percieved as a harrassment if I apply to jobs/volunteer organizations (as they may contact her for reference). When I explained the situation to a few employers this week, their response was -if your application is incomplete (empty work history and reference section, we can’t consider you for the position.) I wish if I…

Private care > Facility care

Switching from private care to working a facility SUCKS. My mom was an at home care giver who worked privately, she was disabled herself so she can’t work most normal jobs, however, the type of care giving my family provides is usually either emotional or end of life care. We wouldn’t be changing clients or showering them ((seldom at least)) and most of it was driving clients to and from places, helping with medications and picking them up, laundry, grabbing them food, etc. It was more like a personal assistant. My mom and me both decided to do it together and I would often tag along to help and our clients always enjoyed having someone younger around. I decided going into care giving at an assisted living facility would be great! It was a perfect fit for me! Wrong. I asked for PM, fuck even morning. I got night shift.…

This feels like a good place for a rant

The world sucks and there is one reason why. The need for productivity. Society try’s to strip us of our humanity and turn us into mindless robots with the only goal of productivity. Why fear the singularity when we are already living it. It is important to note that productivity takes many forms, but when I am talking about “productivity” of higher ups, I am talking about mainly their pay check as getting more money is what they think being productive is Every major problem can be linked to this. More people are complaining about school and living through hell at school —> Society puts a higher pressure on being productive and so students work harder to make sure that they are recognized as productive so they can get into higher productive jobs so they can be seen as productive, as that is now how they value their self worth.…

Contacting work.

I just needed to rant because it happened again, but if I am requesting time off for an appointment, I will always contact my work as quickly as I can either by email or text. This then leads to me receiving no reply on their end, and when it comes to the day I am criticised for leaving it so late or for simply not calling. Homie I reached out to you in an appropriate time and gave you plenty of warning, answer your emails.

When you ask for a payrise…

When you spend hours composing the perfect email asking for a $3 payrise explaining how your work goes way above your job description and how much extra work you do, only to be refused because you asked via email, which the boss felt was “unionist” in nature. Then you resign and find out that they now have to hire two people to replace you at a cost of way more than the measly payrise you were asking for. I think that’s some pretty nice karma there. Shitty company that doesn’t value it’s employees. Already found better employment elsewhere at a company that’s been voted one of Canada’s top employers.
