No Annual Bonus This Year
I work for a massive media company and it’s my third year at the company. The last two years we received EOY bonuses. While it wasn’t life changing money, it was basically an extra pay check and a nice gesture that helped motivate me to enter the new year with a positive and affirmed attitude that validated my hard work. Not this fucking year. After leading the company in volume of content produced and organic views drawn to our website, I’ve thanked with…nothing. On top of it all, every single option in our 401(k) plan was negative YTD this year. All 50 or so options in the red. Mine’s down 20% meaning I basically contributed nothing this year. And I’m supposed to bust my ass for this shit? Why exactly? The systems set up for us minnows to only benefit in extremely good years and get fucked the rest of…

Was I fired for refusing RTO?
I've been in my current role for 1.5+ years. I've been working remotely, with ~1 week/ month onsite. My offer letter included a relocation bonus, which I never received (or deserved, as I did not relocate) and no other worksite stipulations. Suddenly, my boss wants me onsite “more”. When pressed for a number, he says 3 weeks/ month. I had no warning of this conversation, but I immediately told him that that schedule would not work for my family. He then says that he understands my position “as a wife and a mother” and that he promises to be transparent during this “transition”. And, that he would love to be a reference. Did I get fired??? I have a three month notice clause in my contract and I don't want to work anymore if I've been fired.
So not me, Buy my friend’s first job
So my friend's first job had a one week “Trainning” trail, Where he had to work and he wouldnt be paid for it at all.
I work in a supermarket and my probation period was extended due to not working fast enough. I am timed and my score is relatively same as others even though it’s supposed to be higher but barely anybody actually achieves that score as it’s extremely hard to do. I’m going to live abroad in 2 months so don’t want to lose this job now, is there anyway I can appeal or extend it? And maybe lie about why I’m going so slow saying it’s mental health or whatever. I’m not a bad person i just need this job. Anything I can do? Any help is really appreciated
Ideas on how to respond to this?
To make a long story short, my organization has stopped paying for janitorial services. They now expect the lowest paid department, who also has arguably the most responsibilities throughout the day, to clean the break room that the entire organization uses, as well as the bathrooms in one building. Looking for advice on how to respond to this email? A way to professionally say “why are we the only ones doing this when literally everyone uses the break room?” It seems like the bathrooms in the other buildings are divided by department, but somehow we ended up with the break room exclusively.
