I know some companies will steal wages from employee tips before the employees see anything. What are the best ways to make sure that money ends up in worker's hands? Tip in cash? Anything else?

It's Christmas. Please stop coming in and thanking me for being open or working today like I was given a choice. It was either come in and work or try and call out and be told no because of having to find my own coverage… like that's gona happen yeah right. Stop telling me you're surprised we are open… because all in all I don't want to be here and the only reason I am is because boss man can make a profit because of people wanting to shop. Don't ask me how my Christmas was… because sitting behind the register was my christmas… so how do you think ? Really hate the holidays because of situations like this. Ba humbug

Watching National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, and the entire concept of a Christmas bonus (and a sizeable one too if he was gonna put in a pool) is completely foreign to me. My dad said they’re not really a thing anymore, his company doesn’t do them now. I’ve only been in my career for 3 years, but I’ve never heard of a Christmas bonus. Hell, I don’t even get the week of Christmas off, and I’m not in retail or food service. Was this really a thing? And when did companies start deciding to screw over their employees during the holidays?

I have tried to tip both Walmart and Target workers when they bring out groceries or whatever. Both told me that they couldn’t accept it. The WalMart guy actually said he would get fired if he was seen accepting a tip. Said they have cameras that watch the delivery area. Happy Frickin holidays!

I had a job opportunity for me to be a pharmacist. Yes that’s correct a pharmacist. I was a pharmacy tech for a few years and I’ve been looking at places that I can see to get me a better offer instead of $11 an hour. Then I get a call from a company asking me to be a pharmacist. I’m not sure if I’m allowed to lie and say I been to school or not. I don’t see it as wrong because companies lie about their products with fake reviews 🤷‍️

I worked as a drafter with very tight deadlines and about 6-8 projects at the same time in an office where people kept throwing work they didn’t want to do at me. My commute was an hour and a half each way. After a few months my mental health started declining and I started having severe anxiety, fainting randomly, panic attacks. I finally decided to quit after having a panic attack in the middle of driving on a busy road and almost getting into a car crash. Yeah I’m broke now but at least I can focus on bettering my health. Nothing is more important than that. I just wanted to share. TLDR; Had panic attacks in the middle of a road after working a high stress job.
