Parents: “You make a habit of quitting”

If being complacent with staying at a shitty job—that you have no idea what is like—at the expense of your dignity is ‘quitting’ then your perception of failure & success is skewed and archaic, I have no reason to take you seriously. Seriously, no matter the job circumstances, my parents always place me at blame for leaving, or even complaining! This isn’t 1884 anymore, you have the goddamn right to be happy and dignified in your life. Also, you have no clue what’s it’s really like to work here, you are projecting your archaic and weird work ethic onto me. Just because you submitted doesn’t mean I am going to.
