Went back to work early from maternity to act up as head of service from deputy position. Corporate restructure happening with lots of redundancies. Might be able to cling onto a job on a huge demotion. Would be able to stay but would have to hire and train countless staff as everyone is jumping ship. My energy has gone. Redundancy is only 4 weeks pay. Have worked for a decade to make head of department and the new job will be twice as much work without the title. Could take redundancy instead? Have some savings but partner recently redundant. Do I need to stick out this horrible arse fuck?
