So I work under the table at a local liquor store and in an effort to go ‘legal’, my boss has decided to start taking the taxes off on my check. Mind you these are personal checks that I’m given and in the ‘For’ line on the check are the deducted amounts with the word FICA next to it. Obviously this isn’t how it’s done but I want to know the correct course of action to get my money back
