Got a call from the owner of the place I work at (small, family owned business) around 9:30am this morning saying he was on the way in with, “fresh watermelon for all the staff so everyone can have a fresh snack and stay hydrated.”
This is what he brought and it’s now 12pm and they’re still sitting here.
For additional context; I work in a warehouse with no ac, no fans, no swamp coolers or anything. I have to sit in a vehicle if I need to cool off and I also live in AZ where it’s been 110°+ every day.
