The minimum wage is lower or equivelant in (if i remember correctly) 34 states for ADULTS than the minimum wage in the Netherlands for 16 year olds which is almost 5 dollars an hour which most comanies here giving you (as a 16 year old) like 6 euros+ (6,56 usd) some companies even give you 13 euros per hour for like cleaning AS A 16 YEAR OLD (14,20 usd).
PS: minimum wage is higher if you don't get enough tips, but to be fair, I don't think (most) managers there care for that, but idk
