This country was founded on the elimination of native peoples, slavery, indentured servitude, denying the unpropertied the right to vote, and generally just keeping all but the upper classes firmly under under control and in a position of servitude. The way a nation is founded determines its basic character, from which it cannot depart for any extended period. As long as the United States exists, it will be a land for exploiting the masses for the benefit of the elite few. It is an irredeemable country.
The only rational choices, if you are not upper class in the United States, are to get out or to give up on changing anything.
