I met one of my old classmates this afternoon. He talked about his life biggest issue that being a single dad. He told me about horrible child care prices and taking a day off. Navigating child care as a parent, no matter the time of year, can be really challenging and there’s this: from work conflicts to varying partner schedules to unexpected sick days that can throwing the entire household into chaos. Not to mention facing the problem when it comes to working (both remotely and in-person) is overcoming the biases put upon them because of being single dad.
