for some context: steve sent out a message on slack saying he wasn't going to be granting any more time off for the holiday season. i didnt know at the time, but my family was planning a trip for thanksgiving. i told him, and expressed that i wouldn't be in california and im not sure what to do, and thoroughly apologized for the inconvenience. I got back from the trip, and wasn't on the schedule. Instead, there were two new people. found out later that the person he hired in my place got in a massive fight w our cool manager about eating in her work attire and fucking took off her clothes in the middle of the restaurant. AND THE KICKER: they went bankrupt and shut down permanently 3 weeks after they fired me. fuck you, steve.
