Hi there idk if this is the right place to post this or if anyone can help/direct me on what to do. I work for a nonprofit therapy office where the executive director is a tyrant, and of course there’s no on above her. I work the evening reception shift of 11am to 8pm, that what was stated on the offer letter i signed when i accepted the job ( picture attached) Most of the time there’s no one in the office past 7pm, sometimes 6:30. At first i used to leave bc I’m in an office that sees a multitude of individuals including but not limited to those with active court cases and sex offenders. There is no security precautions in our building ie none of the front doors or office doors are locked/ needs to be buzzed in, I am very vulnerable if something were to happen. Someone complained a couple months back that no one was here and the building was closed at 7:30pm, so i was made aware that i needed to stay here till 8pm my assigned time, which is no problem. Recently the executive director emailed me saying that was not allowed to be in the building myself. She has also made it clear that the hours on the timesheet need to be the hours worked. I recently moved out and depend on every dollar i make from this job, the full shift hours. What should i do? I’m going to talk to my supervisor tomorrow about it but i wanted to get some more advice/insight, thanks in advance
