I just discovered yesterday, quite by accident, that my boss is receiving over $1,700 in auto stipends… every week! He doesn't drive for work except to go to meetings and mostly to go to golf. Our controller receives about $800 a month but the company is also paying her car payments. Some other guy bought himself a Tesla so the company is paying for it.
Showed this to someone else today who dug up more. Apparently everybody in the company who has a company-owned vehicle, which they drive home at night and have company-paid gas cards for… ALSO receive hundreds of dollars a week in vehicle stipends.
My only benefit is 401k matching. We used to receive 2 annual profit share checks but the company can't afford that anymore. We used to get lunch on Thursdays but the company can't afford that anymore.
THIS is why people quiet quit.
