I’m playing God of War and just completed this side quest where I had to free a giant sea creature that was chained down. After removing chains I was expecting it would swim away, but it simply stayed because it was accustomed to being chained for so long that it didn’t want to leave. It was staying up afloat and would rather stay and enjoy some breathy air.
Fuck. This creature reminded me of some of my coworkers who are in their 60s, still working and do not want to retire. They have their mortgage payed off, kids long graduated, married and have successful careers. I’m honestly scared to become like them. I’m 30 and still have about 35 years till retirement age.
Even game developers know we are fucked. US is fucked.
