I hear a lot of people say that the problem with capitalism is “alienated labor”, but is there work that isn't alienating? Work is not fun, whether in capitalism or socialism, it would still be stressful. Work is all the sicky things that need to be done, like handling a screaming toddler, performing a 10 hour heart surgery, moving furniture from one house to another etc. Socialism wouldn't make these things easy all of the sudden. It's not capitalism's fault these things are hard, but it's the world's fault that it created us in such predicament.
