I got on LinkedIn many years ago to make applying for jobs easier and to let recruiters know I'm looking for work when I wanted another job. But I've never learned it's etiquette, if it has a specific etiquette.
Anyway, someone has initiated a 'connection' with me from my previous job. I've always thought it best to send someone a message stating the reason you want to connect/network with them, or just outright know them and see them regularly. I didn't really interact with this person in question but did see them in the background maybe twice a year?
Just wondering what others would do? Could this be someone trying to pull me back in? Do people just randomly add each other?
