If this isn’t allowed I apologize.
I’ve missed quite a bit of work this month and have felt guilty about it the entire time. I missed one week due to asthma related issues and then another week due to a vasectomy. I work in a assembly manufacturing facility so I’m on my feet and doing a little bit of heavy lifting. I know that my reasons for calling off are valid but I can’t help but feel guilty. I’m not even an important person there. Just another cog in the machine. Even my boss was cool about it and supportive. I’ve only been there for a few months so maybe that’s it?
Does anybody else suffer from these anxieties? I know I don’t owe this place anything and if they fired me I’d be fine but I can’t get rid of that feeling of guilt.
