Hello! Somehow I ended up as the chair of my works “celebration committee”. This team plans potlucks, birthday celebrations, work anniversaries whatever. I'm trying to think of ideas for this kind of thing that would actually be worthwhile to the team. I don't have th power to offer additional pay but I also don't want to do bull**** pizza parties. One thought I've had was giving everyone an additional remote day for their birthday…. for context this is a low volume contact center, everyone is hourly, I am not a manager, we are required in person 2 days a week. Any good pro-worker ideas??
