About a week prior to this interaction, I pinched a nerve in my back while carrying 2 50lb bags of cement. Boss told me I had to get a doctors note saying i was all clear to come back to work. I did, and came back on the 28th.
However, that day he had a younger guy with him, doing all the same things i was doing. He then told me we had a different job the next day that he would send me to with another installer.
Then this happened, and that’s the last time I have ever spoken to him, over the phone or through text. I found a job since then, but something is itching my soul about this.
What should I do?
