Employer doesn’t want to pay overtime

I work shift work, 7 days on 7 days off. They told me I had to switch crews which meant working a double shift, I was originally scheduled to work may 3-10, and may 17-24 but I ended up working may 3-10 and 17-31. Now they don't want to pay me overtime for the extra week that I worked. I signed an averaging agreement which I believe this doesn't fall under. I think I have a case to go to the labor board with this. This is in Alberta, Canada by the way. Any advice?
