I’ve just binged season 6 of “The Uncertain Hour” by Kristy Clark about the for-profit welfare centers, and the millions they rack up on the back of poor people
It’s also about whole ideology that “any work is good for you” and the history of the whole discourse around “we need to get these lazy people back to work” and the very racist origin of it.
It’s insanely good but infuriating.
