Title pretty much sums it up. I asked for vacation, they said they had to look into it and I’d had to discuss it with my manager. I proceeded to send the manager an email saying that I booked a vacation from day/month to day/month and I’ll be back to work day/month. She acknowledged another part of the email today when I saw her but she didn’t say anything else. I’ll get to see my family after 21 months of not seeing them!!
