Been working in a same company for almost 10 years, with experiences in 3 different units. Meeting was conducted for 2 years for my promotion, and I only get promoted last year with 3% increase in my salary. I was told that I need do extra task for it. Long story short, a colleague of mine (who is currently doing my former job) sent out his resignation letter with job offer letter 3 months ago, and he received a counter offer of 35% increase in salary with no extra task. A colleague of mine tip me off saying they did not offer me such increment coz I dont intend to quit and I don’t have any job offer yet. Fml
