My GF just had a traumatic experience at her retail job and is now being told to close the store the next day and open the next two days

A customer was basically screaming and yelling in her face to the point where she had to call the cops, she's now feeling super shaken and doesn't want to go to work, but both of her other managers took a vacation at the same time to Florida, and she's terrified of being fired for not coming in the next couple of days since she needs a source of income. Does anyone have any idea what we can do?
