I work a salaried office job, M-F 8:30am-5pm I’ve started therapy where I see a therapist 45 minutes per week….. I sat down with my boss and told him and he told me that I would need to start coming in early one day a week to get 40 hours a week. My job offers 10 days of PTO and that is it. I use it for Vacation. I understand having to work my 40 hours a week, but do most workplaces have a separate sick PTO? Discuss.

Im here without my consent therefore I will exist however the hell I please! I’ve worked so many jobs and I’m only 22. I’ve been working since I was 6, like many people (school is work, nothing more) Well I’m fucking tired. I never asked to be born, therefore I will live not as another mindless drone in this system, but as someone who thrives outside of capitalism. My goal for the next five years is to prepare for off grid living. I mean literally everything from learning to grow food, take care of livestock, learning electric maintenance and water filtering, how to sew, how to knit, etc etc. I’ve been homeless before due to my inability to fit neatly tucked into their cookie cutter frame. But the Buddhas are right, homeless is a state of mind. I was so free I couldn’t even describe it. Sure I was cold…

I’ll start. For me it’s the boss who swears up and down the place “simply can’t function” without them, even though they’ll spend their day in their office where you can see them cruising YouTube or TikTok…all while the place runs just fine when they aren’t there.
