I work remotely for a power gen manufacturer through a temp agency, just got on with the company but that will be in March. I took off last W/Th/F because I was exposed to Covid a lot over the weekend and before anyone jumps on me; I do have medical issues and my doc is always worried about me getting it. Anyways, I was quarantined at home but still working M/T. Got sick Wed am and called off. Tried to work Thursday for a while but had to sleep and let my boss know. Friday I was still sick and my 3 yr old started to projectile vomit (that was the most fun ever) and I still wasn’t feeling good so obviously I take that off. Come to today when I email my temp company that I was sick, please add 19 hours to payroll and leave it at that.…
The Wallstreet Bets subreddit had about this same amount of members or maybe even less when they started turning the big players of Wall Street upside down. On a scale of 1 to 10, how well are we positioned to accomplish something similar? What are some low-hanging fruit goals that we can try to achieve? The people in power want each of us to feel helpless and individually, we are. However, the people in power also know that we outnumber them by the MILLIONS.

Hi guys! Not sure if anyone remembers my post I made awhile ago. Basically my work was adding on extra tasks and I was upset because they weren't in my job description. (I really appreciated all the replies on that post), I did ended up getting a raise so that was really great but now I have come to another problem. I have a coworker that has been sexually harassing my other female coworkers for awhile now but I didn't find out about it until recently. Some examples include leaving love notes in the girls' lockers even after telling him they were uncomfortable with it, telling one of the girls about getting “hard” while working and jerking off in the bathroom, texting the other girls outside of work hours about inappropriate things.. So i have two primary complaints with my current job and am looking for any advice I plan to call my union on these issues as soon as i get the time So the first issue which was brought to my attention today is that i will now have to close up my department, walk down to the main store a 5 min walk across the parking lot and be clocked out all by 11:00pm which is when my shift is scheduled until meaning i have to close up earlier than I’m supposed to and might not be feasible if its a busy night these are minor annoyances at best but whats really frustrating is that i also need to be out of the main building by 11:00 for context i take Uber’s home at night so that means some nights i could be waiting outside for as long as…
