Just let me do my job and go home. I was hired to do a job, I want to come in, do that job, not worry about shit else, and go home. I dont want to have to receive irrelevant emails regarding identity politics, answer condescending questions in pop quiz's that arent relative to my job, I dont want to get online to sign some ethics pledge, I dont want to watch irrelevant videos. I truly DO NOT GIVE FUCK if Jan the salesperson 1500 miles away from me did really good this quarter. And I damn sure dont want to attend any meetings regarding this trash. Just please, fuck off and leave me alone. I come in, I work, I go home.
Why is it that corporate insists on tossing down irrelevant useless shit? Do they not realilze, that they add unnecessary stress and inconvenience on people that probably already feel overworked and under paid? Is this all because some out of touch clowns in suits are trying to make their own jobs look relevant? I have an immediate supervisor or manager, I dont need to interact with anyone above them.
