Recently laid off, no severance because sales is a scam with no protections for commissions would be earned after termination, and looking for the next opportunity.
On the hunt I’m finding jobs having un-paid ‘homework assignments’ to test your abilities. Even with my experience and skills these assignments would take over an hour to do properly.
I heard of these from coding applicants in the past, but this to me either sounds like doing free work or free training, one or the other, for the hiring company, and depending on the ‘homework’ it may be actual work they use for profit.
What a crock.
