Just started a new job and I found out that every employee gets $20 taken out of each paycheck to cover lunch costs??
Lunch is provided daily in the employee area where you take your 30min lunch break. It’s buffet style; 1 protein, 1 veggie, 1 starch, mini salad bar, and soda fountain. If you have allergies or other reasons to not eat something put out that day; oh well, you still have to pay for it.
After lunch break is taken out; everyone is scheduled for 37.5 hours. There is no hitting 40 paid hours or any overtime. I’ve asked to be scheduled an additional 30 mins per day so I could hit the 40 hour work week.
Not allowed.
Honestly I’m getting completely turned off by this company.
