I just feel like this new boss a year in has had it out for me. She’s actually nice but doesn’t solve an issues when I go to her. I was promoted by my former boss to a lead. I first went to her awhile back cause a trainee is constantly rude to me, she suggests I demote myself if it’s too stressful
Not only did she say that but she also said I didn’t have to apply to this position, so it was forced on me when we were short staffed (I got the job when everyone else left). That hurt me cuz to me she implied I wasn’t qualified
I was hurt and tempted to quit but need money and decided to go back to school. Flash forward a year later I took off a total of 7 Saturdays these past 4 months to study for exams . She told me I can’t keep taking PTO as a lead. It escalated to the director and again they told me maybe I should step down?
Is it time to go? Honestly I’m tempted to walk out but need work. I just go home crying and don’t feel respected
I just don’t have another job lined up and have no references for job searching. And don’t graduate for another 2 years. I used to want to be here long term but new management is not supportive of me
