Antiwork

My dad made almost as much as me when he was a paper boy.

I work at a small diner/store and I was having a chat with my dad. He mentioned how he would buy himself anything he wanted as a kid and even bought his own clothes for school. He had a paper route. This was in the 1960s. In 1967 he was making $90 a month which in today's money is about $830. He was 17. It isn't as much as I make but I'm in my 30s and it would be nice if these kind of jobs(with fair wages) existed today.
