It just sucks so bad living in this generation. I am in deep student debt, I live in a small southern town with limited options, and I can't afford to move. I just have nothing. I am unemployed, with zero income or savings, and it doesn't feel too much different than having a job. I just go without food a couple more days than when I have a shitty job. My family all benefited from being born in the 50's and 60's. College was cheap, and you didn't even have to go to college to have a job you could not only support yourself with but also a family. I will never get out of debt, I am close to defaulting, and when I have a job I still have no money. And I have people that had it WAY EASIER than me telling me to just a get a…
Earnings periods are every 2 weeks. It shows your earnings for that period on the driver app. I distinctively remember it saying $202, then the next day it was $189. I emailed support, and a week of sending emails back and forth went something like this… Are you sure? Yes. Can you show a screenshot of when it said $202? I don’t have one. Is it possible you withdrew $13 recently? No I didn’t. Are you sure? Yes. Finally, they tell me they’ll look into it. At this point, the earnings period had already ended. 4 days later they tell me a delivery I completed worth $12.65 had been canceled and that the earnings I saw wasn’t corrected until the next day. The reply of course is concluded with “Apologies for the error. Thank you for driving for us, enjoy the rest of your day!” Hold on, a delivery I…

OK! We're making sandwiches. Let's go with Ham and Swiss for the example. One loaf of bread makes 2 sandwiches. One loaf of bread weighs 0.50lbs. “Recipe” book says 0.25lbs of Ham sliced thin per sandwich. Book says 2 slices of Swiss cheese cut at setting 2 on the slicer. Manager wants the sandwiches to weigh less than 0.50lbs each… Sandwiches are not sold by weight and are a set price per unit. So am I supposed to cut off part of the bread and throw it away? Completely WASTE it instead of letting someone eat it? Or the other option is to use less meat or cheese which is cheating the customer and not what the corporate sanctioned rulebook says. This kind of thing is what Managers do.
