Change my mind. Cause all I see is a bunch of people who complain, yet all I remember is how my grandfathers slaved away for an entire family and yet millenials here don't want a family, don't want property, don't want to upkeep their lives, don't want to do dishes, wipe their own asses, etc, yet still want to somehow get paid without doing any work. Funny thing is, even if I quit my job I could still make a decent living farming and/or working with my own hands through carpentry, welding, and other self taught skills, yet the majority of people here couldn't learn how to do something from youtube even if they tried because they are distracted by 30 second dopamine injections. I am confused, so how do you expect to survive? If you don't expect to survive, understandable, have a nice time removing yourself from the gene…
Wouldn’t it be amazing if you got $5 from everyone on here for doing no work? Wouldn’t that be the perfect example of anti work? Doing no work at all. Think about how amazing it would be to make over $1 million dollars and do nothing. Just be supported by others who only have to pay $5. We could even do it monthly and make 12 millionaires every year. I’m aware that all the members in here wouldn’t do it but want to be optimistic.
Anyone tried it and succeeded?
I am the all-time rage-quit champion.
In 25 years of working, I have had between 100-125 jobs (the actual number is unclear due to sheer volume), and I have rage-quit at least 50 of these. The styles of rage quitting have included the standard ghost walkout to full blown insult mania and even assault! No one even comes close to my legacy, not even my brother. I am the greatest rage-quit champion of all time. Ever. And I am proud of all of it.
Don’t settle
I was recently talking to a friend about his job and I wanted to let you guys know that good employers are out there and to not settle for anything less. Also, ignore the bad English. English is my first language, I’m just not good at it. Also I’m on mobile so formatting. (I don’t really know what this means I just see a lot of people say it on their posts so if there is something wrong, that’s it) So my friend works for a vet clinic with a specialty (vague for obvious reasons). This clinic is part of a large network. The staff realised that the clinic wasn’t making enough to be profitable and so all the staff came together and agreed not to take the 2% raise for the year and all the vets (not the vet’s assistants) agreed to cut their wage in half. (Please keep…
Not sure if this is said often here but often I see fellow Europeans bragging about how our part of the world has it better. On a grand scale thats possibly true but for many hard working Europeans it is not. I've worked retail, food delivery and I primarily work in kitchens for restaurants and cafes. The food industry is the one I know best and it's a complete disgrace. We are treated like dirt by management and customers, laws are broken when it comes to getting what your owed, they will always short your pay if you don't watch it. I make minimum wage and can't seem to get anything better. I am expected to work very hard with full availability. No sick pay etc. It's not better here for all of us. We are all in this together. We all want to be treated well and fair at…
