Title says it all, I don’t schedule myself here 🤷️
These came in at 9:19pm mind you. And these same people will tell everyone that “no one wants to work anymore”. Proud of my response though
LCSPA Voted overwhelmingly to walkout
I was hired as a seasonal employee in November, which I know usually means you can get let go come January. I was weary of things and periodically asked my managers whether there was any word on whether I’d be kept part time or if I’d be fired. As January came closer a few of my coworkers were told they were being kept. While I still hasn’t learned anything, and pretty much was sent on a goose chase of “they should know ask him, that’s this guys jobs ask them, ect.” Until I found that i was not scheduled anymore on the time sheet past a certain date. I just learned that my bonus is worse than last year's, even though I got additional responsibilities since the person who handled it resign 9 months ago. Before that I had to handle covid-related matter in the workplace that got me infected in the end. I won't claim I'm a good worker. I've been applying jobs elsewhere left and right but no response. Almost everyday I feel stuck, not just career-wise but also in life in general.
Back to doing your time prisoner!

With my ex-wife, she made $25/hr and I made $20/hr, so the combined $45/hr was alright in purchasing a house a few years ago. Her mortgage is now $1,400 as she got the home. All the jobs I see don't pay! But houses and apartments are all around? My only guess is people are married or have roommates. I don't want to come across as bitching, but life isn't supposed to be this way. I doubt anyone would want to room with me when my kids come over for a few nights. So am I essentially forced to remarry someone that works? LOL. I don't see any other way! I even have a Master's in Public Administration … but the pay just…
