Stranded at work

So to preface I live in a very rural town with absolutely no public transit. I recently had to move here from a city where I could get away with driving short distances with my car that isn't legal yet (dealing with the state to get my title from an unscrupulous seller) but now to get to work I have to pass a military checkpoint to get on base. My boss agreed to give me rides to and from work until this is settled. Well today I get dropped off, and less than an hour in he calls me and tells me night crew called out so he left in order to come back for the night shift. Now I am stranded at work without a way to get home after my shift. I have no money to my name so I can't even get a cab. Looks like I'm…

Looks like I'm gonna have fun walking 2 hours to get home at midnight tonight in the middle of nowhere
