I posted last August looking for some advice when I encountered being passed over for a management position. The upper management hired a close friend
I listened to you all to move on. I was able to secure a job quickly paying my worth as well as keeping a contingent job there as a side hustle. My initial school job increased my wage by 37% then they asked me to pick up a compensated additional duty making another 10% more!
New job is fantastic! They treat us like adults. New contract has us working 90 hours less a year and a 12% raise increase over 3 years (school job).
Between side hustle and school job I’ll be making substantially more money than I ever thought I would.
Thank you for giving solid advice. It helped me believe in myself so I could be here today, working happily along.
