Voluntary redundancy

So I’ve taken vr before I’m pushed out of my firm at the moment. I’ll be completely honest, I’ve massively enjoyed my job for the last 18 months for the most part, apart from the last 3 months. I work in broadband in the uk, and I spend my time arranging our engineers work assignments & allocation, so a very admin heavy, non-customer focused service. I heard in the grapevine that the company would be looking at mandatory redundancies so I took the voluntary before I’m pushed…

Our build team took over while my boss was on holiday, made me question everything, and then on top of that my firm purchased another 4 companies.

A bloke from one of the companies who has no idea what my systems do, or knows how to do my job, is now basically teaching me how to suck eggs – and I’m now done.

I heard in the grapevine that the company would be looking at mandatory redundancies so I took the voluntary before I’m pushed out.

Now I’ve lost all motivation to do anything and spend my days at home watching YouTube, Netflix, and Disney+ (not ashamed to say that I’m going through all of futurama again as it’s brilliant)

Lack of motivation is killing me and just want garden leave
