Got a call from work the same day I was supposed to work only to find out I’ve been fired. I had a feeling this day would come considering I was the last full time employee with all the benefits of it. Just like that, at a drop of a hat without a care in the world. If that wasn’t bad enough they are now demanding I drive an hour up to the salon to return my scrubs or else they will not give me my last check and will use “Appropriate permissible action” if not returned by a certain date. They then would like me to return for my check on a different day. I’m beside myself with how quickly this all happened, I swear estheticians need a friggin union.
