The owner of our store thinks we will work harder for some corporate bullshit sign-up if he offers his winning store(more than 3 and less than 10 stores total) a pizza party. The GM treats the workers badly. We haven’t had an assistant manager in 2ish years. Instead they push off responsibility to regular employees, including having minors closing registers. I am confused what my actual role is. The other person with the same title as me(?) does almost nothing. They’ve taken people and given them 0 hours for the week, after being notified of a change in availability. The district manager just covers for the GM. I am just holding out til one of the many many places I’ve applied to wants me. I really want to leave.
