Co-supervisor said I tried to fight her.
I've been taking her toxicity and abuse, plus the toxicity of the rest of the supervisors who I can't even talk to sometimes. Eventually one day when she was pissed off she again was being toxic (she talked to me in a demeaning tone) after I asked a question on how to go about doing something so I said “Why are you talking to me like that, I'm just asking a question”. Later on she says that I tried to fight her. I chose to leave that place because I don't want to work with a woman who is going to claim that I'm trying to beat her up… For the past month I could barely talk to her. Sometimes she would ignore me and I'd have to ask again — and knowing that she hates me, I still responded as if nothing has happened. One time, I asked her…
Share the %
My coworkers and I thankfully had the transparency to share our annual merit increase % with each other and apparently within our team it ranges from 4-7% without promotion. However we found out that in another team the merit increase figures in the double digits. We're in 1 company and were wondering how this could've been unbiasely quantified. How come the internal range for employees performing at the same rate varies by that much. HR practioners, let me know your thoughts.
The person who puts in the schedules at my retail grocery store job was going on vacation and they are too lazy to have someone else trained to put schedules in the system despite the fact my book keeper could do it. We had a show store where we have a shit ton of people come in basically set the store up how they want for the summer and then a bunch of big shots come in throughout the districts where they glad hand them and tell them the store looks great. Anyway during this I heard some people talking about schedule being in 2 weeks prior then it needed to be done. Ok I figured I had till Monday and I already told my boss I could work today Sat and could work Easter. Boy was I wrong. Schedule was do that Saturday I was able to change my…
Boss knows I'm immunocompromised. I'm very open about what meds I'm on, why, and what they do. I (finally) got Covid last week, and because I'm the only employee in my office, I had to close. He owns 3 franchises, but works out of my sister office an hour and 45 mins away, so he can't fill in. He just hired a new receptionist to start last week to fill in and help, but I wasn't there to train her so he wants me to come in to train her next Mon/Tues and pull 2x 9 hr shifts over it. Per legislation in my area, we only have to isolate for five days during the contagion period, and can return to regular activities with a well fitting mask if we feel better. Thing is, I don't feel better. Because of my (lack of an) immune system, I stay sick for…
And she keeps saying that 'it's a policy, it's different' even though I'm pretty dang sure that it's STILL illegal….I live in TN by the way. So what do I say to her the next time this may be brought up? It was only brought up because I had asked the assistant manager 'oh how much do you make?' but he rightfully was dodging the question. She piped up saying we weren't allowed to discuss it because it could make other managers jealous that they don't make as much as other managers within the company. I tried to argue that they couldn't do that, but she pressed on that 'it's a policy, it's different' and so I dropped the discussion. I want to inform her that it is in fact ILLEGAL to have such a policy and that we are free to discuss our wages if we are comfortable. What…
The Billionaire’s List
https://www.forbes.com/billionaires/ Know who the robber barons are. Everyone should know who are the ones that takes the whole pie and leave none for the rest of us. The ones who have more than enough for themselves, their children, and their grandchildren to spend or share in their lifetime. These crooks are the ones who show no empathy. They are the ones who never been in the trenches like us common folk. They are the ones who give us no ounce of humanity. They say they look out for us but obviously it's bullshit. They do not provide a chance for every man, woman, and child: a home, a job, an education, or an opportunity. *This is your daily reminder. Now back to the show
I am done with my boss
Okay, so yesterday my boss told me that I management do not want me to work overtime from my house, we have remote coworkers so this didnt make any sense to me, we have 10 hours shifts but we are working at least 14 hours per day because we have been severaly understaffed for the past 6 months, most of the times Id rather do the overtime from my house as we would only have a 30 min break if I stayed the 14 hours at the office, and guess what, this is mexico so we dont get paid overtime hahaha, if you dont work they fire you, you cant sue, cant do anything, when I asked my boss why, she got pissed at me, she started saying how my perfomance has been so poor lately so she literally told me that she was not going to listen to me,…
