Says most in the title, but I turned in my two weeks notice at my job. I asked HR not to tell anyone until closer to the date. I assumed they would tell my boss, but they did not.
I was written up by a disgruntled customer claiming I did ridiculous things, but what “I did” is illegal, so they're taking it seriously.
I was suspended. It's been a week.
If they try to reinstate me today, I will have 3 shifts left.
…. so when they call, do I just explain that I've been off for a week because of their silliness and now have 3 shift left so I'm out?
That's what I truly want to do. I don't feel like being a good little worker, but I also would love to smile at everyone and dammit I had plans to say goodbye to my solid coworkers. They escorted me out.
Maybe go in 1 day just to do the above? And then quit directly to the man that suspended me. It won't even disrupt the shifts. HR and my supervisors know I'm out.
